An underdeck coop is one thing. Do they get to come out and experience the world is another. Patsy and Lilly never left the under the porch coop. They barely got any sunshine. I am certain they never had a true sunbath or ate any grass until they came to live with us.

I know that yours would be allowed to be chickens in the sun. An under the deck coop is actually a good idea.
Mine really miss the big deck at our old house, both under and over!

Hi friends, I have lots of catching up to do, but wanted you to see what a sweet, sweet good girl Ester is. This is right before a feeding. The syringe plunger stuck, so I cut that part out of the video, but I really wanted to show how cooperative and compliant she is. Love her!!!

She sounded like she was making contented clucks. :love

Excellent! I did know about the vet on Monday. So awesome. Kathy and Kim in the emergency forum are good with dosing on antibiotics. However, a vet opinion will be great to prescribe the proper antibiotic, lance it, or whatever it needs. Have you posted photos lately of his foot?
I am hoping the vet will be able to give a definitive view on lancing, and if it is indicated do it there and then.
