Hibitane 4% but it needs rinsed off. The chlorhexadine sponges they give you for surgery are a no rinse product. Had a bigger emergency come up though... I just found my missing chicken! Does anyone remember how long it’s been? I’m about to cook her up some eggs and get her some Gatorade
You posted about missing her on Jan 20!

That is amazing news. I think it was 1/19 based upon this post. That is incredible. 14 days +/-.

I don’t know how you reference things like this so quickly, but thank you Bob. I can’t believe she’s still alive! Here I’ve been complaining about the sheep that was trapped for at least 4 days under the collapsed stairs of the vineyard that no one thought to look for. How I missed her I don’t know. 14 days without food or water, just a tiny bit of grass, no light... she looks worse than when I rescued her. I searched the whole area, and the woods up past their favorite dust bathing spot I never thought to flip the plastic feed bowl. I feel so stupid.

Except they are almost guaranteed to behave in ways that make any allergy worse. I am mildly allergic to one of my present cats & he's the one who really gets in my face creating the itchy eyes & nose. The other cat is far more reasonable but I'm not allergic to him. :gig

But I think you are right: Shad has many cat~like qualities. Could be why he's so well liked on these threads! ;):lau
I don't want to ask....really!
I've tried very hard to identify with frogs if you must know. It seems frogs get lots of princesses kissing them. However, green just isn't my colour and I got tired of being called Kermit.:p
Snakes are cool, but highly unpopular due to some serious misinfornation in an old book a few guys wrote.
I would go for dolphin if I didn't sink like a brick.
If anyone asks and wont accept I don't want to go back thanks, then I guess I would choose to return as a raven.

I am sure she was happy to see you!

Stuff happens, I know the feeling. But here you found her alive, and you can nurse her and there's a good chance she will survive. She probably had a bit of water from the rain, besides the greens :hugs Maybe because it was darker under there it caused her to save her calories, which helped! Keep her in bed to snuggle with you and Arduinna tonight, and...wait...who else? Oh yeah - your DH! :lau

The Purina All-Flock is also 20% protein, but has 3.5% fat and max 5% fiber, where this has 2.5% fat and 6% fiber. Which is preferable? Less fat and more fiber?

Other ingredient differences to consider between them? I don't know which ones are better to have more (or less) of. I copied the listings I could find below.

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Lysine .8%
Purina All Flock crumbles Lysine 1.10%

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Methionine .35%
Purina All Flock 20% crumbles Methionine .55% min

Phosphorus same (.6%)

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Vitamin A 3.300 IU/lb
Purina All Flock 20% crumbles Vitamin A 7,000 IU/lb

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Salt NaCl .25-.65%
Purina All Flock 20% crumbles Salt NaCl .3-.8%

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Sodium .15-.2%
Purina All Flock 20% crumbles Sodium .55% Max

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Calcium 1.4-1.9%
Purina All Flock 20% crumbles Calcium .8-1.3%

Nature Wise 20% crumbles Vit E 20 IU/lb
Purina All Flock 20% crumbles Vit E 14 IU/lb

NatureWIse goes on to list Manganese, Selenium, Vit D3 and the actual pre & pro biotics.
Purina also mentions the pre/pro biotics without listing, writes "Vitamins A,B,D,E & K", also Niacin levels "guaranteed for ducklings" but I don't see a number.

Maybe I'll go back and forth if I can get the Nutrena crumbles. I've been buying the Purina All-Flock from TSC mail-order but they don't stock this Nutrena in crumbles. Maybe find it elsewhere. I tried a Manna Pro feed similar protein but the chickens didn't like the mash from it much, and I didn't either, it didn't seem to dissolve or mix well. So I went back to the Purina All Flock.
A lotta work you did (as my chickens still eat leftover pizza)
