Pooping on me, already done it when I've had to move them to clean the brooder. But you know I've had a terrifying thought. My flock loves me, all are able to be handled to some extent. What would happen if I kept Karen. I can see that little terror taking over and convincing them all, even Drummie that I was the enemy. It will give you nightmares I tell you.

You need to bribe Karen. I am sure she will be amenable to special under the table deliveries of meal worms. Do not give up!

I decided this evening the little terrors were big enough that I would upgrade them to full use of the dog crate for a brooder. This would give them more room to play and have full access to their dust bath that they love. How do they repay me, by destroying it in under 30 minutes. Why dust bath in the sawdust when it is so much more fun to sling food out of the feeder and wallow in it. Alex, I hope your chicks are more well behaved then my wild crew.

They were just enjoying their newly expanded space! Hahaha!

I find Blanche's comb to be pretty spectacular. To be that big and straight up. It's outstanding!
