Shad, I hope so too, but still no luck. He can’t fly, and I found no breeches in the fence line anywhere on my property. It’s a great mystery. Not even a feather. I’m full of unwarranted emotions at this point. I LOVE THAT CRAZY BEAUTIFUL ROOSTER!

She is very beautiful, my Canna was beautiful like she too. That is a lovely mugshot, Bob! She is a very pretty hen.
This is such good news!I have a wonderful Butter update to share. Yesterday many times she stood up on her own and stayed standing for 10 to 15 minutes each time. She even tried walking, got up to 5 steps once before she had to sit down. But I think the most encouraging part was what she did yesterday evening. For the first time since her injury she laid a egg. I was soo afraid where she was in the middle of her laying cycle that one may have gotten broke inside her and a infection would set up. Butter is also getting daily massages and physical therapy to her leg and hip joint. She loves it but struggles if i try to massage her back so I do not push that issue. Pictures taken just a few minutes ago. Look at her expressions, her attitude is also coming back in spades. She may not be one of my beloved Marans, but I love this hen.

I thought “the rain in Spain, stays mainly on the plain”. I’m kidding Shad. It’s an attempt to stay positive for my situation. Love your birds.I've been doing what I can to make the coops dry. The plywood I bought for this coop was crap and the layers peeled away. I had to wait some time for the butile sheet I needed for the roof. I picked up 22mm thick OSB a couple of days ago. OSB is also hard to come by now.
As you can see, it's a bit damp but it's done at last.
This is Tribe 3's coop and it was leaking and damp.
That's Tribe 3 in the lower picture. They're a bit damp just like me.
