I was in wallyworld yesterday, buying soldier fly larvae for the chooks. The cashier asked “what are those?” I happened to reply, “these are for my fluffy butts!” The cashier’s response was “I BEG YOUR PARDON!” (Obviously she was Not a chicken owner)

Only suggestion I have, is to move the Wide Screen TV into the littles new coop, away from the FBA original coop. Then they get entertained while they get big enough to join the pecking order!

I’m repairing a broken sewer line under the mobile home in front. And Jaffar came by to see what I was working on.

Job completed, but Beethoven-Hen walked by, complaining that the sewer line was not draining 1/4” inch per foot!
I told her to shut up and go eat your corn! Darn, there’s a critic in every crowd!

Your new chicks are adorable, I'm loving the colors and hairdo's they are getting. Hopefully Phyllis makes friends with them. But you know, they could very well make fast friends with one of your unexpected girls like my silkies did. Who would have thought that when it came down to it that Butter would latch onto them like she has.

In the end it is up to them. We shall see. They are already super cute. I hope they don't use their cuteness for evil.
