Looking back, everything was just so back and white in those days. No shades of grey.

I now know that is not a shade of grey. It is lavender and very beautiful!

Something puzzling to me. Everything you read says chick brooder temperature should be 95f in week one and reduce by 5 degrees each week. So I should be at 90.
I know the whole logic is different using a heat plate because they press up against it when they get cold.
But during the day the Hooligans almost never go to the plate. Their ‘hang out’ is on top or on one of the branches.
The room is 70-72 degrees depending on whether the sun is aging in the window. That is nowhere close to 95.
It is very strange.

That would be mortifying… lol especially as he’s over a decade younger than the oldest guy I’ve dated! Lol. My dating age cut off was literally younger than any of my aunts/uncles. I scraped by with one former boyfriend by a whole year, poor Andrew is a solid two decades plus younger than my Dad, and only half as bald thanks this year will be our 13th “anniversary” From “I love you” in fall.

Tax payments are never boaring. Don't make me start collection procedures.

Hmmm is this a SHRA tax or no? Did Bob borrow my idea on collections or is it a “great minds” situation? Must stay tuned To find out! (And this is what happens when you live several hours behind everyone else and don’t check in to the chicken site often enough during the day! You post everything at midnight or later most people’s time!

I’ve thrown out the idea of “brooder temperature” they have a heat plate, are blocked from drafts and they are good IMO as long as I’m seeing activity, and not hearing that “mom I can’t find my way back to the heat plate” distress peeping I let them do their own thing.
