Does the UK still have B&Q?
Yes, all accessible if you have a car getting delivery's have been very difficult since covid.
It's like only certain people can acquire what is needed. I'm exhausted trying to get things. I've been getting things of builders lately, it's saved me a pretty penny and a heap of stress

What on earth would they be using facial recognition for?
I have no idea.

Perhaps they are correlating faceprints with purchasing habits in order to create a data asset they can sell to third parties?

In the story, the Bunnings person mentions theft - which I assume means they'll use the faceprints to assist police in investigating theft.

From my research, I know how unreliable faceprints are. They're nowhere near as reliable as fingerprints, for example. So I hope the cops don't go after the wrong people.
