I have a fetish for black chickens, no doubt about that, and probably also for black cats. But the green legs is a thing I didn’t believe existed until people on this thread deluged me with evidence. I do think they are very stylish!

Oh same here I love all my chickens but I especially love the black and have black dogs and had a black cat.

Weedeating by the pond. I wasn't all the way down to the water cause it gets real soft. From where I was standing the water line on my dock was over my head and I am 6'3. This is the lowest it has ever been. The water is in good condition because I run an aerator 24/7 but sweet Jesus I am praying for rain.

So much drought conditions this year

That gives me hope. Maggie is a disaster zone.

I've mixed eggs and sardines together (thanks too directions from @Ponypoor ) then I just finger fed princess in as a similar feeding action as I could to a mother bird feeding her young.

She's eating really well now and I'm hoping her molting will cease soon.
