That is definitely worthy of an extermination mission Do you actually think they will go for the golf balls? Maybe next time you crack/cook an egg, rub some of the egg contents on the golf ball first. Snakes are purported to have a great sense of smell.

Maybe you can hire him - he can clearly catch a lot of snakes!

@BY Bob did you even get any sleep? You were on still around midnight or even a bit later...and you have already posted when I logged in after taking care of the chickies!!!

With all this sadness going around, thought I would post a positive pic/story.

These are pictures of my 'crop girl'. She is still doing very well, though she has seemed to forgotten I saved her life, as she has gradually gone back to being a 'no snuggle/no touch ' girl. I finally got to spend some time with the ladies this morning. How about 2 wet, bedraggled, molting Polish ladies.

And there he goes again music to my ears - oh wait

Oh just had a huge kerfuffle, ran outside, and there was a crow that has been snooping around, it landed in the pine tree were they were all sitting. Marty raised the alarm and hightailed it to the barn.

When I got outside I spooked the crow who flew off, I yelled at it crows are super super smart. I don’t t mind them hanging around they are a good hawk alarm. But I wanted to kiddos to see I could scare it off.

That crow had been watching when o had the gang out back on mount poopmore for a few minutes. It spooked the silkies who all ran back in the barn, gods girls! But hung around watching me and the others on the manure pile.

As I said crows are super super smart and I don’t mind them here, but want the chickens to know that they are safe.

I am not a chicken I don’t eat flies! Where has that fly landed? On horses poo? On chicken poo? Worse on rat poo???
