Yep - I am not looking forward to the last few hrs to get to camp. I am going to get up extra early and head out, I know Edmonton and the Yellowhead highway really well, and it should be light by the time I get to the Whitecourt cutoff…. That will be new territory for me….

But it’s getting Truly on the trailer that has me in knots, darn horse. You would think after 30 yrs she would just knuckle under and behave

We Have an Egg!

Actually 2 as apparently she laid yesterday afternoon. I moved the cameras around late yesterday morning and their was no sign of any egg.

IT'S BLUE!!!!!!!!!!

She is a Frost Legbar!!!!!!!!

She's on the trailer!

Only took less than 10 minutes and few persuasive wacks to stop jerking my sore arm and she got on!

Lulu marched on like a pro, then I read my text messages and they are telling me oh don't not come for a couple more hrs!!! WTH! That horse is not getting off this trailer till I get there! Shove her in a darn stall if you're not prepared! Jeez Louise we agreed 11am! Its now 11:38 it will be after 12 by the time and get there!

Really starting to frustrate me.
But Truly and Lulu are loaded.
Yay!! Huge relief!

Thanks so much. I kind of felt the same way. Something had to finally go my way. I was very apprehensive opening the nest box lid. What joy a simple egg can bring.
