I actually got to snuggle Cheetah today. Came home in blizzard. Snowing powder, visibility 1/2 mile plus or minus a bit. Was 38F when I left for work, down to 14 when I got home and wind blowing sideways. Everyone in coop except Cuckoo and Cheetah. Cuckoo let me give her a ride in. Blanche followed me back out to dinner Cheetah, so I started herding the both...carefully. She decided to head back in, but Lark came out and headed off exploring. Cheetah wasn't herding too well, but I managed to corner him trying to go through the fence to the garden. He started to squawk, then settled when he realized all I was doing was holding him close. We went into the coop to wait for everyone else to settle back down and Lark to come in. He snuggled in, even tucking his beak in to me and took a brief nap in my arms. I finally gave up on Lark coming on her own, tucked Cheetah up (he got a bit disgruntled), and went to herd her. She herded in, door closed, head count, all present and tucked in. Snow falling, wind blowing, hearty soup for dinner and tomorrow off.
