Phyllis is perfectly happy here. She thanks you for the offer but politely declines. It’s a win win. They get the bugs, we get some exercise!
And Phyllis can come live here anytime she chooses!![]()
Good to know you’re safe out there.I saw something that looked like half a tornado (the top half) yesterday, but nothing else. All sound here.
What a good boy - and he has a lovely crow’
I don’t know what I have anymore!Sounds like you may have pumpkins elsewhere as well.........

Hmmm, I had to chuckle! For a 'dual purpose' hen, Sydney looks pretty svelte next to the fluffily large derriere's of the others! (especially since there is no Phyllis nor Glynda in these pictures.
I think I have said it before but Sydney does not seem to be dual purpose sized. She does not even make it to 6 lbs (2.7 kg) and Hattie is over 7 lbs (3.17 kg). I have always thought that Syd was small for a Barred Rock, fake or otherwise.Hmmm, I had to chuckle! Dual purpose? Does that mean sing and play the piano?I think I have said it before but Sydney does not seem to be dual purpose sized. She does not even make it to 6 lbs (2.7 kg) and Hattie is over 7 lbs (3.17 kg). I have always thought that Syd was small for a Barred Rock, fake or otherwise.
For reference, Aurora looks big because she is all fluff. She is just over 6 lbs.
Hattie's feathers are sleek. She is that big.
I do need to weigh Lady Featherington and Glynda. I have not done so yet.
