Finally for once Rosie has made Christmas shopping for her easy. As she has gotten older her love for reading is becoming more prevalent. A week ago I found the complete works of Edgar Allen Poe and ordered it. She also has been watching her favorite movie "The Shining" and then watched the sequel to it "Doctor Sleep". Once again she complained that the schools library had no Steven King in it. Tonight I ordered her the 2 book series to The Shining. We also watched Carrie for the first time over the weekend, she liked the movie. If my mind does not change I will also order that book as well. I would so much rather get her books, including classics while she has the interest instead of video games or other junk.

The dingalings braving the cold: Granite, Quartz, Cumulo, and Nimbus. I managed to chase them back into the coop where everyone else was after I refilled their water. The later in the afternoon, I went back out to check on them again. Quartz had decided to roost with the bigs (kicked off come bed time). The other 3 were back outside under the olives. Encouraged them back into the coop again, then closed it. Storm isn't calling the kids to her, but she isn't driving them away either. They are still roosting together. 13 weeks old.

The heart is for Branch.

But have to ask, how can you watch those movies 😁 I could never watch scary movies and never S King stuff. My BIL and I were just discussing that on the weekend - we both can’t watch horror movies.

Actually no one in my family watches them, we are more a spy action ‘James bond’ type movie lovers - oh and Star Wars / Star Trek 😁

Glad to see like all children they can tolerate the cold better than the oldsters 🥰

Storm is like Henny Penny she kept those kiddos for 12 weeks till they decided they wanted to be on their own.

If that’s the case, when the monsters are after you, just beam them up! :old
