I just might go nuts wearing this straight jacket! Dr can't say surgery would heal right & waiting on Nature (God) for healing. They don't like doing surgery on us old dinosaurs !

Prayers please would be much appreciated for healing of my right humerus.

I've read and heard that rubbing caster oil into fractures and spores areas can aid with the healing process furthermore, when oil is added to some kind of padding the bennifits have even better results

I only wish I had that information earlier in my life, it could of potentially have saved me a lot of agony.

I have tried administing charcoal to princess through a good amount of water and a syringe today. It apparently aids in filtering away toxins from the kidneys and liver

For princess I would make sure she has lots of water, and a good layer feed. You can make a porridge of the layer ration by mixing hot water with it.

You don’t need to give her any charcoal or other additives, she already looks marvellous Clean fresh water is required for healthy kidneys. Sometimes you just need simple things like clean water, food and love. She is already getting all that

Ine question @Marie2020 - is it possible to get her a feed that is not for layers? In the US there is feed for all flocks and for growing chicks for example. The reason I ask is Princess is not laying very often now I think and so she doesn’t need the extra calcium that gets added to layer feed.

Me too. And with my hen Xzit being sick I worry even more.

Xzit: keeps her eyes closed for long periods of time. yawning more than usual. Poops are not normal. (Too wet) moves her neck frantically at times (found nothing in her beak) and she scratches at her ears, but there’s no reason for it (no bugs I can see)

She'll eat porridge dry or wet, vegetables softened even fruit but her is still water and she will not touch layers in any way at all
She's picking off the floor and enjoying scratching around but not eating anything substantial
It's a real battle.

Yesterday and last night we had a very loud festival coming from the house behind, they were booming out drum and base it almost sent everyone crazy. Princess was seriously disturbed, these selfish people didn't even care about their own small children let alone any animals they disturbed.

In the past I added charcoal too chickens feed and for my other animals and it helped. It got my dog together on countless situations plus an elderly dog that ate something really bad and nothing worked to pull him through, thank goodness the charcoal stopped him be ill and he's still with us.
As for myself it saved me from salmonella, and other upsets. This is why I tried it again.

Right now princess is scraping around after some mixed corn, which even that she had no interest in.

I'm honestly doing my utmost.

I've currently got mash which she is refusing and or course this layers

Is growers different, I'll look this up.
