Official Squatch Watchers

:bun:bun i planted a peach tree and a plum tree today! I was amazed i was able to dig down that far.
DH and i went for a walk along the river and back up to the hoop coop. There are piles of rocks i can use to build a wall along the driveway where there is an ugly bank of bare earth. Hubby expects me to put in a concrete footer so that is going to be a major job!
And we saw an interesting piece of wood. I want to put it somewhere i can enjoy looking at it.View attachment 1243075

Cap, the next tool you need is a planer. And maybe a bandsaw so you can slice trees and then make boards.:D I still want a bandsaw mill. I have all the other tools.

It can become a problem. If it interferes with the ability of the bird to eat on its own it can be a huge problem.

I have a cross beaked Orpington. I check her crop each evening and weigh her regularly.
She cannot pick up pellets or scratch so I make certain there is wet mash every morning. They tend to scoop the mash.

Can you post a pic? My girls isn't to bad......yet.

Is it really bad
That's a severe malformation of the lower beak. She'll need periodic beak trims throughout her life as they have a tendency to curl if they don't meet. Guess she's eating and drinking, though, so she should be fine. Does she have a tongue?
