I guess I should say it's hard for me, because I want them to free range and its gonna take alot of clearing and building to be able to have the breeds "free range" in separate pins lol.I almost always separate breeds for that reason, you can ask more for purebreds and the feed costs are the same. In TN i had 20 plus coops plus runs and tractors , sold and shipped a lot of hatching eggs. And chicks.
I also like the unique colors and looks I get from the mixes.
