Official Squatch Watchers

Thanks. I'll fix those things. I can mention brooding in a coop but a lot of people have done articles on brooding with adults. I might mention that my phase two setup can be used in the field/pen with the adult birds if the electric can reach or with a broody sitting on eggs/raising babies, in the field with the flock and no electricity.

Maybe just a blurb about it also being able to be used inside a coop and say something like.....There are already a lot of great articles and threads on how to do that so I won't get detailed on it here....

I added some variations to the bottom of the article, take a look. Do you know where I can find the MHP article about raising chicks in a coop with adults? I think Booie might have written it.

Just had a deluge thunderstorm here!
The grass is absolutely submerged and it had a ton of teeny hail.
It has been looking like rain all day but not like buckets full of rain....jeeze!
Been drizzling or raining all day

Looks good
Might mention max amount of chicks. I know people who use the mhp , and a bunch, have had trapped chicks if they can't escape out the back when its up against the wall

Were you meaning the wording here...
"And I bed with wood chips"
Or
"And a bed of wood chips"

@Redhead Rae this is for you. Not sure why the quote is Mo's...

Had another decent storm after that one, stopped long enough to lock the coop and hasn't completely stopped yet.
It looks like a swimming pool out there, there wasn't time for any of it to sink in.
I might be wading in the morning lol! :D

Do y'all need water wings? Sounds like it was soggy for a lot of you!

I feel really lucky we were dry and not to hot today. I got most of the roses trimmed, tons of weeds pulled and a good chunk of the in ground garden hand turned.

This weekend hubs should be home and we are roofing the chicken run.
:wee
Then I can FINALLY get that quack shack built!
