You need to get propane asap!
Your electricity bill will break the bank if you use space-heaters and heat-lamps instead!

Oh, I know. But propane isn't cheap either. In this cold I go through a 30 lb canister in about 3-4 days, and that's $30 each time. It honestly comes out at about the same price as electricity. I just like having propane in case the power goes out.

This week is a short week! - And a perfect long weekend to get busy in the garden. After some frosty nights, the top centimeter of the soil has turned into a hard crust, which prevents the loam to stick to my shoes. I can still push the spade through and turn the soil over. And then my little helpers come in and till for me:

Oh, believe me my friend, I've more than thought about it! I'm actually thinking of putting an addition on the side where I can keep the rabbits, as well as grow some hardy plants.

Temps are going up today, and will remain a bit more average for at least the next week. I just wish it were Spring already...
