WooHoo! I'll make that pic into a pinup, for BLU's perch in the coop!
Interesting, I was doing a bit of a check on Queenie, and saw how gray in the front her leg scales are, wondered if that was normal! I see it probably is. You've got a fluffy ball of chicken with Goldie there! I am making calls to locate at least part of her flock if possible. I am totally into caring for her but she must be traumatized and terribly lonely now. She saw something in the room where she is and started making a low tapping/purring/rumble sound, not a happy sound at all. I don't know what to do for her about that.![]()
My friend in the background is 6ft 5in tall (For scale)
Yes we do.But we love them anyway!![]()
Good idea.Spend some more time with her, so she's got you for company.
He towers over me!That's a decent height! He'd fit in well with our family!![]()
You need a script for amprolium? I just get it in powder form at the fodder shop here. In fact, I gave my girls a preventative dose this morning given that it’s so humid.
Canada be crazy.![]()
It got worse... far worse. Not only did they knock over Andrew’s good BBQ (the cows already took out the old junker one and the little tabletop one we use at the markets), and my propane tanks, they also Tossed about several empty Jerry cans I am cobbling together to give back to the farm (Long, long story, summed up with “In-laws”). They were chasing my chickens! They ate my chicken feed, and remember the picture of Gus in the trailer? Apparently you can fit several sheep in there as well. So I had to herd ten sheep out of my yard this evening before putting the girls up. I have to say, the one black one and G25 & G26 were almost cute...Those buggers! Nasty old sheep!
