Bernadette seems to be enjoying her new found mobility.
I was reassured to see she can really sprint when she needs to, she is showing off by not jumping on the intermediate height tree stump (even Bella does that), and what is with the crazy dance moves?

If she can make that kind of leap on a semi-regular basis, she's fine. :celebrate

She seems to have rather long legs!

Chain her ankle to the walker in such a way that she may as well use it because it will be more trouble trying to leave it behind than just accepting it? This may not be legal, or ethical, but it does make for a hopefully entertaining picture. (No offence intended and yes I’m joking to lighten the mood, I hope) I understand your frustration, and having also spent many years quitting smoking… don’t be beating yourself up for little backslides, just be conscious of the increase, acknowledging the underlying reasons for it, and forgive yourself for it. ❤️🙏 :hugs
You are reminding me if all the sneaky things I did with my Dad (and my mother before him).
I replaced his entire kitchen floor with new vinyl without consulting him (he would have said no) while he was in the hospital having tripped on a torn bit of flooring. He broke three ribs there was no way he was capable of stopping me replace the floor!

I’m not posting a SHRA because I know everyone else is going to say the same, but it still needs to be said… see example a:

You are a wonderful chook-mum. Sometimes bad things just happen, and there’s nothing we can do about it. Having chickens means losing chickens, it’s about giving them good happy lives while they are in yours that matters most. You do this, therefore you are a wonderful chook mum.

Well if he hadn’t tripped in the first place then there wouldn’t have been the opportunity to!

I kind of like the ones we get in the hospitals here… the smiley faces and “free” are good. DH got like three or four pairs last stay, and I like the super bright red ones (makes the patients easier to identify if they try to make a break for it?) 😂
Oh, you have been to our local hospital! Everyone wants to make a break from there!

Thanks Kris. :hugs
