I feel like the worst chook-mum ever.

Ned!! It's been ages since I've seen his photo. He looks magnificent.

That was such a special time Bob.

Gosh did Ned have big feet right from the get-go! And I just love a baby chick peeking through Mom's feathers. It just can't get more adorable than that!!!

Those peekaboo photos are just so adorable. It agree. I love them.

The ultimate gentleman rooster as well. I burst with pride everytime I see what he has grown to be. He's the perfect example of what a rooster should be. He's so lucky he had Stanley to learn from.

Xzit is just hanging out in her box. Not much movement from her (is that the trance mentioned?) she needs to eat and drink!

She only needs to eat and drink once a day. She'll be fine.

I know. I had the same with my Dad. But the more you push the more she will resist.
Have you had someone come look at things that can be done in the house? Grab bars, tape in the floor, that kind of thing?

Maybe next summer Ivy will hatch some. If not, I will definitely be buying a few pullets because it's time Ivy wasn't bottom of the pecking order, such as it is.
