I feel like the worst chook-mum ever. :hit
I’m not posting a SHRA because I know everyone else is going to say the same, but it still needs to be said… see example a:
That is NOT true, you are an awesome crazy chicken lady 🤗🤗

I would trust you with my motley crew 💖
You are a wonderful chook-mum. Sometimes bad things just happen, and there’s nothing we can do about it. Having chickens means losing chickens, it’s about giving them good happy lives while they are in yours that matters most. You do this, therefore you are a wonderful chook mum.

So gorgeous and Ned is a mighty fine looking fella now!
The ultimate gentleman rooster as well. I burst with pride everytime I see what he has grown to be. He's the perfect example of what a rooster should be. He's so lucky he had Stanley to learn from.

I know I need to. But this is going to lead to a fall. My floors are slick laminated floating floor, she is wearing thin socks and when she uses the furniture as support she's leaning.
I know. I had the same with my Dad. But the more you push the more she will resist.
Have you had someone come look at things that can be done in the house? Grab bars, tape in the floor, that kind of thing?

One of the highlights of all the years I've had chickens live with me. 🥰

I truly wish you get to experience it some day.
Maybe next summer Ivy will hatch some. If not, I will definitely be buying a few pullets because it's time Ivy wasn't bottom of the pecking order, such as it is.
