Check out That Neck

There have been significant developments in the last day. Aside from roosting in trees, the first I noticed was that Sydney's constant clucking has stopped. She now only clucks for them when she wants them to come to her or she has found food for them. The chicks are also wandering much further from their Mum. The following photos are from a moment when Sydney was behind my chair. I feel like she left Ned/Nanette out of her site.

And check out that Neck!

I should have started a contest, guess the sex, back when he/she was born. This is going back and forth like the ball at a Wimbledon finals match. 😆

That soon? I never heard of such a situation.
There's been a couple of funny squaks(sp?) but this one had a distinct cockle doodle to it.
You should call them “The Susan’s”.... a friend of mine had 7 Barred Rocks and two other different breeds... she called the BRs The Susan’s ... Lazy Susan, Black-eyed Susan, Funky Susan........ 😆
Hahaha, that's awesome!
