The only other hen I have seen color change with was Patsy. She got more red feathers with each molt. Does that happen a lot?

I’ve noticed that Lucy is getting less red as she gets older and more cream. I just assumed it was her going grey!

We've got a yellow weather warning for Friday. That means they're expecting it to be hot.
Hot here means over 40C
The strange thing is they're also forecasting rain for Thursday and here it's often the day after they think it will get here.
Rain at 40C should be interesting.

I think COVID has had a lot of people working extra without pay. My husband works in Healthcare IT and was getting programming in for hospitals to track cases. It was done knowing it wasn't going to be paid for and there was even a paycut for a little while. There is value in doing things for the greater good but it doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves.

So true. Let's keep all those generous people in our thoughts and if we happen to know one or meet one, we can give them the warm thanks and appreciation that aren't possible through the systems of their workplaces.

Peggy's changing colour. I think she's getting darker. Instead of one colour all over she has two shades of blue-grey.
