He can't be lonely with Jaffar Arizona and usWonderful!! I'm sure Jaffar and the ladies will be happy to spend some time with you (and you with them) Have some good food, relax, snuggle, and watch a movie.
Any diagnosis? How are you feeling (other than hungry & lonely)?

What a lovely mug shot of Hattie!

I love her eyes...they are like Astralorp eyes, deep coloring and somewhat large. I have a hen (Raven) that is part Astralorp and has those large brown eyes...when she cocks her head and looks at me, it makes me melt. (It doesn't help that she is such a sweetie, too, similar to Hattie
. She follows me everywhere when I am out!)

But can she cook my polish friend canNo. Phyllis is a Polish.

I actually like it because it means it gets better and better every day from now on.I was outside with the chickens, and I could have sworn that Beethov-Hen squawked “winter solstice day sucks!” That’s what I thought I heard![]()

I really hate the short days. I want to go to bed right after the chickens do and that is at 4pm at the moment.
1st, thank you for trying nursing and then realizing it was not for you and then leaving the profession. Too many stay and are miserable.I used to be a Nurse....
Even here Nurses this day and age are seriously lacking in proper 'hands on care'. They have too much theory (read university training), and not enough practicum (read old fashioned training).
Anyways I guess that is what they call progress. Used to be we had community nurses (I was one) now it seems that is no more...
One thing I am certain of: best decision I ever made was to get out Nursing! Better pay, benefits, holiday, etc in the real world.
There's my girl!
