Nobody wants to play with me today! :hit Sure, they want my treats, but only one (Arizona) would come close to me. She actually jumped up on my back, then climbed up to my shoulder. I think she wanted the grapes that were still on the vine. I gave her some.

Okay, I have to ask, as I'm confused::idunno

:confused:Both Dr. Pepper and coffee (unless decaf) have caffeine. Isn't caffeine bad for them (chickens)?
Yes. They should also not smoke. How can you stop them!

Okay, I found my answer:

https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fvets.2020.545359/full

Upon checking coffee:
an 8 oz cup of regular coffee can have anywhere from 180 - 240 mg of caffeine
an 8 oz decaf cup can have up to 60 mg. caffeine
Dr. Pepper has 21 mg. per 12 oz can
Coke-a-Cola (regular) = 34 mg per 12 oz can
Diet Coke-a-cola = 46 mg per 12 oz can

I suppose a sip won't kill them, ...but probably can get addicted to it, LOL

Delightful! She looks quite large for a bantam!
That is probably because I disturbed them & they both fluffed up @ me but true bantams [ie those with no large counterpart] are considerably smaller for sure. My Japs & D'Uccles are tiny.

Bob, speaking of roosting, with Peggy sitting on eggs, the other three hens have become extremely peaceful at roosting time. Now Sansa is no longer there, and Phyllis is using the cluckle hut, perhaps things will calm down with the other four hens. What do you think?
