Yep that's hot!

How do u keep your chickens cool? We get hot and humid here (+35C and very high humidity), and o find it challenging to keep horses and chickens cool ... Fans full tilt in the barn.
I ice their water (using silicone mini loaf pans for the ice blocks) and run fans and/or misters in the run.

Alex, how do they get down from the rafters? Bridge is almost six and doesn’t love jumping down from high places. When she was a pullet, she LOVED to climb and jump up to the top of the play structure (now their coop) and jump/fly off the top. It was INSANE!
There are ladders and ramps inside the coop. But there are also several 3-4 ft high items to hop up on to get closer to the rafters. I haven’t had any complaints except for Jaffar. He can’t get up there.

Someone once asked me why I named my little hen Arizona. I don’t really know, but it’s an original name, and fits her. :idunno
I’m up tonight, talking with her about starting her egg laying soon. I’m not sure if I am getting my point across

Weather seems strange today. Overcast and foggy out, but air quality is rated poor. Makes it hard for me to breathe 🙁
Good morning :)

How's the weather today, it like spring here for now. Even the lady birds are about
