Yes. As you know I had wonderful professional help building the Chicken Palace. There was lots of debate about how to fix the hardware cloth to the cattle panels - I really wanted both because of snow load and foxes. Nobody could agree on the best way of doing it.
So I got myself a load of wire and started sewing. The guys were a bit taken aback I think - but once you get into a rhythm it wasn't so bad.

Hardware cloth sewing tax: A reminder why it needed to be so robust!

WOW! That is one terrific safety build! Way to go! We get occasional strolling suburban coyotes down our street displaced from the mountains behind us, raccoons, possoms, even a stray rabbit once, but never had a fox. Your fox was pretty -- though I'm so happy he gave up on your flock!

2013 -- We went nuts with chicken math this one year. Mind you, we're zoned for only 5 hens/no roo's but in our first two years we already had cycled thru 9 chickens! Some were re-homed and some died.

After keeping "TAFFY" the Blue Wheaten Ameraucana juvenile indoors with some supervised outings.....

....we got possessed with chicken math and picked up a Dominique chick at the feed store but the sweet little darling only lived 21 days But she was such a pistol of friendly personality we got more Dom chicks a few years later!

So sorry about your legs/back. I can identify -- I take 400mg magnesium right before bed, and if I awake 4 or 5 hrs later (bathroom break) I'll take a second gelcap to continue a restful night. DH & I thought it was a myth for calming pain but it lessens pain a whole lot. We also have magnesium powder to drink for quick pain relief. I believe Marie2020 uses magnesium for her aging doggie too for pain.

And my pain.
But I've been using the 3 mixed and heard today that the l-threonet may be better for our brain, nerves bones, heart and sleep. Plus a good omega along side this is apparently super good

I'll order these next time. But the ones I have has honestly been helping my dog.

Vets use MSM poultices for animal pain but doesnt work ingesting it; whereas magnesium works internally.
