Oh @LozzyR I have to laugh, you and I are a fellow nerds! I too went straight to the search function. In terms of original posts (i.e. excluding replies), Fluffy Butt and Ribh's threads are neck and neck. The original Caturday post on this collection of threads was posted by @MaryJanet on her thread sending a Caturday picture of Blossom for @LozzyR.
But @N F C (Debby) has us all beat, as she wished everyone a happy Caturday waaaaay back in 2015.
I will shut up now and go look for chicken tax.

I knew my uni research skills wouldn’t go to waste! I think the Caturday memes showed up on the website “I can has cheezburger” and there’s a Twitter hashtag as well.

Can I just share that I’m excited to go home and see my birds? I miss them so much! We’ll get home a bit late tomorrow night, but I’ll probably have to peek in on them with a headlamp. Then I’m taking Monday off from work to recover AND I have to quarantine when we return, which means working from home for awhile! Woohoo!!!! My sweet dog will be so happy, too. I miss her, too. Poor sweetie has been in doggie hotel this whole time. She will be so excited to come home!

I suppose that I can be sympathetic to someone who is in Hawaii while I am dealing with sub 20°F (-6.7°C) temps.

I do understand. We did 2 weeks in Hawaii years ago. You do miss home eventually despot how beautiful it was.

I just did a search. The majority are on your thread, with a smattering on MJ and Ribh’s threads, plus four unrelated ones. It will probably get spread over the three threads, much like the rest of us!

Then I say let's spread Caturday around! Post your pictures anywhere!

I understand your meaning I think, but I don't understand why your thread and this community subset can't celebrate it too. Or others' threads celebrate it also. It has to be in the originating place, or both places, is that what you're saying?

I've tried to multi-quote all the references but don't know if they hang on after you move to a new page, so my apologies. All the variations are better than my original meaning of Her Royal Highness. I thought she looked a little like an 1800's Royal, sporting a huge wide bustle dress!

I just want to respect others and not steal anyone's ideas. I believe we have decided post your Caturday photos anywhere you want.
