So be hot
again today 102f I just arrived home and my poor friends are so hot. Even the water on the ground is hot!
I’m going to bring everyone inside.

There have been studies on influenza and NSAIDS causing cardiovascular events. They say not to take ibuprofen aleve celebrex etc just in case. They propose that Covid also could act the same way.On the NSAIDs they don't really know. NSAIDs impact immune response and there is some evidence that they reduce the body's natural immune response to fight COVID. But the data from mice has not been reliably replicated in people so I believe it is still a theoretical worry based on how these drugs impact the immune response.
Thank you on Lulu, I am still holding my breath.
And finally, don't worry about Koffee Klatch - I had no clue either and had to look it up - I thought it was rather a nice idea, but as I don't drink coffee I am always a bit lost on Wednesdays!
You feeling any better? The air here is hot and dry (with poor quality) so I’m using my inhaler. There have been studies on influenza and NSAIDS causing cardiovascular events. They say not to take ibuprofen aleve celebrex etc just in case. They propose that Covid also could act the same way.
Wednesday is an odd day for me too, I do drink tea but as I mostly work on Wednesday I don’t get many good chickie photos with me drinking tea.
Is the almond tree shaking still making dust? You feeling any better? The air here is hot and dry (with poor quality) so I’m using my inhaler.![]()
No, not anymore. But the air quality isn’t good at all this week. (Cough cough)Is the almond tree shaking still making dust?
Attach it with some twist ties to the chicken wire and it'll stay in place.Great idea I have 'plenty of free cardboard ty!
I really doubt you will start a fire. I've never heard of that frankly, not that I know much. Electric fences are used out west, they don't start fires do they? All the information about "fencers" (where did that word come from?) I've seen is all about grounding issues when it's dry, in terms of giving a good zap. Hmm.I believe the ground rod works best if the soil around it is damp - how do you achieve that when it is underneath a building? I put mine near the wash out of the sump pump drain and I actually put in three of them I think!
I am going to have to retrain everyone on the fence - I have had it turned off for a month because it has been so dry I was worried about starting a fire - but I have noticed that the raccoons have figured out it is off and are stopping by at night to see if they can break in!
What an awesome photo! It looks like her body is a rotating barrel!
