Thank you!

Prayers needed everyone please.

Grandma insisted she wanted to sit out on the porch. I get her outside and before I could get the chair under her to sit down she purposefully fell. I managed to catch her to break her fall but we could not get her back up and she refused to help try. Ambulance is here and she is going to the hospital for x-rays. I will update everyone this evening when I know more.
Sending you all good thoughts for your grandma. Hoping you get some nice cuddles and gentle beak wiggling too.

Oh my goodness! Well I hope both of you are ok, that is how I damaged my back when I was a Nurse, one of the patients tried to get out of the wheelchair and was going to fall, I jumped to catch all 200lb of her, and we both ended up down, but got the worst of it.

Be careful with your back.

Gosh I sure hope your gran will be ok.

💕

Look at this, they have not done this for over a week now.

What I should do is pack all 8 of them out to the coop and lock them in. I am not going to do that. Instead while waiting to hear from mom at the hospital I am going outside to sit. I will also probably end up holding each and every one of them for a bit.
You enjoy their company, you deserve it. Relax and have a wee chit chat with them, and some cuddles.

We are all thinking good thoughts for you and your Gran.

I have a house in Washington DC. And it gets very cold there in the winter. 🥶
For anyone who has not had to deal with winter before, here is a way to see what cold is like:

Take a couple trays of ice cubes and put them in a large bowl and put water in the bowl to slightly covering the ice.

Stir the water and ice around a bit to make the water chilled.

Now stick you hand in that ice water and leave it there as long as you can stand.

Once you get to the point where you have to take you hand out, think about both you hands, and feet, nose cheeks and ears now being that cold. All the time for hours sometimes while you shovel snow, do chores, feed the animals.

And that is what it’s like in the winter.

😊
