#18 Cherokee Frybread - prepared by HomesteaderWife 4/19/2021

Going to leave a review on this, because either flour or milk measurements are off. The dough was very soft and sticky, and I had to add ALOT of flour to get this semi-firmed and even then it was still sticking. Not a great experience for my first time making this in that aspect, BUT....got them made and served with powdered sugar and honey drizzle and YUM.

(FYI: if you have a bunch of cuts all over your hands, I do not recommend squeezing lemons.... making these two glasses was way more painful than it should have been.... )

Put me down for #34, Hummingbird Cake, please! I read the recipe, it sounds good. But I don't see that it actually calls for any hummingbirds, which is good because a) my Walmart doesn't carry them, and 2. I probably couldn't afford them if they did, although they would make an adorable garnish if you could get them to just hover about the cake! So can anyone tell me why it's called Hummingbird Cake?

Very sugary, maybe?
Maybe you could make a cute little hummingbird with colored icing or fondant!
