I'm not sure how she gets them exactly, but the camera depends a lot. If you just have a smartphone with a bad camera (like a cheapy Android from a million years ago) you won't get the best pictures.
I have the Pixel 4 and the photos come out pretty good most of the time.
Keep in mind you'll have to bend your spine to get some nice photos as well. If you have a bad back that's going to be a royal pain. Also make sure your lens has no fingerprints on it. If it does wipe them off.

I do put my phone on the floor and take pictures ( one of my tricks ☺️)
